I will be able to help you to explore in depth your feelings underlying the choices you are making now that have resulted in the stressful conditions you are living with, as well as the feelings underlying your habitual ways of relating to your life, work or relationships that might be also causing you stress. New understandings you will gain during this process will give you the control to make changes that will reduce or eliminate the stress you are experiencing. The greater understanding you will gain about yourself will allow you to continue to keep your stress level within comfortable levels throughout your life.
Stress has been said to be the difference between what you want to do or say, and what you actually do and say, as well as the time lapse between wanting to say or do something and actually doing it. We will be exploring what your true feelings are and looking for ways you can safely be more direct and open in your self expression in order to reduce stress from this source. Working therapeudically to bring these feelings into consciousness will allow you to express them consciously and thoughtfully, in a timely manner, and therefore safely in the future.
